Izabella Tabarovsky, Founder and Director of the Center for Embodied Judaism, has taught Jewish approaches to meditation, prayer, and embodied worship at congregations and communities around greater Washington, DC. for the last 5 years. Her own meditation practice dates back to 2001.
Izabella is an avid student of Judaism. She has engaged with multiple spiritual disciplines and studied various traditions as well as healing modalities such as mind-body medicine, energy work, aromatic herbs and essential oils.
Among her tools are also coaching certification and the studies of the Enneagram and Myers-Briggs. These continually inform and enrich her own practice of Judaism and her teaching.
Izabella sees Judaism as a deep source of personal spiritual expression and a guide on the journey to a deeper connection with the Creator. She is inspired by opportunities to share her understanding and experience with others.
She is a member of the Shirat HaNefesh community in Chevy Chase, MD. She holds an MA in Russian History from Harvard University.
